Find 3 hours a week you didn't know you had

Everyone tells you to "find time" for the thing you want to build. Nobody tells you how. So here's the actual method — and you'll likely find three hours a week you didn't know you had.

For one week, don't change anything. Just track it. Every couple of hours, jot down what you actually did. Not what you meant to do — what happened.

At the end of the week, read it back. Two things will jump out.

First, the leaks. The scroll that was going to be five minutes and ate forty. The show you weren't really watching. We all have them, and they're invisible until they're on paper.

Second, the dead time. The twenty minutes waiting somewhere. The slow hour after dinner. Small on their own — but they add up fast.

Now here's the move. Don't try to reclaim all of it — that never lasts. Pick one block. A single, protected chunk. Say, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 8 to 9:30.

Guard it like an appointment, because it is one.

That's your workshop. That's where the next chapter gets built — not in some fantasy version of your life with endless free time, but in the ninety minutes you just found hiding in plain sight.

The people who build a second income after 45 aren't the ones with more time. They're the ones who found a small, consistent slice and protected it.

If you want to know exactly what to do with that first protected hour — the fastest, no-jargon starting point I know — it's linked below whenever you're ready.
